It was a great honor and privilege to represent both our country and our university at the Beyond 2025 Innovation Arena. As the Chair of the Department of Bioengineering at the Faculty of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering, Yıldız Technical University, our participation in this event marked an important step towards strengthening our engagement in European Union-funded projects and becoming an equal managing partner in international scientific collaborations.

 

During the event, we established valuable connections and took concrete steps toward building collaborative projects that foster a shared culture of innovation and scientific advancement. Our efforts align with Yıldız Technical University’s internationalization strategy, aiming to integrate our national knowledge production and scientific capabilities with the European research ecosystem.

 

We are committed to continuing our work to secure funding that will bring advanced laboratory and production infrastructure to our university, enhancing the research and development opportunities for our academics and students. By aligning their vision with that of Europe, we aim to provide greater added value to our country.

 

Being part of such an impactful international initiative was highly meaningful for our university, our nation, and myself personally. Increasing our participation in these kinds of platforms will not only strengthen our presence in global projects but also elevate our R&D, innovation, and technology development capacities.
